One of Our Own has Passed

At approximately 10am this morning my beloved wife, Edna Flores-Lagunte, had decided to join our Lord above. She departed this world doing what she loved most, being where she looked forward to being at, the ALC, the highlight of the year for her. To no surprise her last act was to give the gift of life to others as an organ donor. She gave me a dream and now she'll live only in my dreams. I love you Edna.

The Passing of Edna Flores-Lagunte

On June 4, 2014 Edna Flores-Lagunte from San Francisco, CA, suffered a cardiac event while participating as a cyclist in AIDS/LifeCycle 2014. Since then, we have been in close touch with her husband Richard Lagunte, who was riding with with her when it happened. Today, with Rich’s permission, we are sad to share that Edna has passed away. This was Edna’s thirteenth year as a participant in AIDS/LifeCycle, an event which she loved deeply. She was a proud Training Ride Leader and helped prepare thousands of people in Northern California for the event. She has made an incredible difference in the AIDS/LifeCycle community, and she will be missed.
