Hi All,
Thanks for making adidas Urban Run SF another fun year! We've enjoyed (or endured) short, long, and (ahem!) interesting routes together. I hope that those that didn't win the raffle this year will have the upper hand in 2009! We also owe a bunch of Urban run shirts to those who have been committed in running with us on a regular basis.
Honorable mentions go out to our most consistent Urban Runners of 2008: Mercedes Acosta with 33 runs and Jimmy Hwang with 41 runs this year. They both deserve a prize so I will have to dig something up (not literally) to show our appreciation.
We will not have a run on December 29th. It would be a little daft of us to set up a run wedged in between Christmas and New Year's when everyone should be spending time with family and having fun elsewhere.
Finally, here are the courses for January:
January 5 - California-Broadway-Stockton 4.7 Miles
-Start at adidas Sport Performance Store
-Powell Street
-Left on California Street
-Right on Fillmore Street
-Right on Broadway Street (and through tunnel)
- Right on Stockton Street (and through tunnel)
-Right on Market Street
-Finish at adidas Sport Performance Store

January 12 - Race of Truth 5K route...but is actually 5 miles total, starting and finishing from the adidas store.

This is a FUN RUN this month. Runners and walkers start at adidas Sport Performance Store on Market Street to the Ferry Building. Runners/walkers proceed southeast on The Embarcadero and will pass the Willie Mays statue at AT&T Park and take a left onto Third Street. The turnaround is on the corner of Terry Francois and 3rd St. after you cross the drawbridge. After the turnaround, run back on the drawbridge and make a right, along the back of the AT&T Park and return to Ferry Building via The Embarcadero and back on Market Street to the adidas store for the finish.
We welcome comments on making Urban Run better for 2009! After all, you guys are making it all happen!

Warren and Adrian-
Thanks for putting on a show for us week in and week out. I really appreciate a place where I can catch up with my friends, make new ones and get in a run in the most beautiful city in the world. I look forward to 2009!
